Thanks for stopping by! Welcome Week will be held September 1-5, 2014.
Please take a look at the following information about Welcome Week:
You can get the Welcome Week schedule in a couple different ways:
1. Use this website! In the upper right corner, just hover over “Welcome Week 2014″ with your mouse and you can select the day of the week you want to know more about.
2. Download Involvio! Visit http://www.involvio.com and get this year’s Welcome Week schedule on your iOS or Droid phone. That schedule will be updated throughout the week and you can see who else is attending the events.
3. Grab a paper copy of the schedule. We will have a limited number of paper copies of the schedule available on campus. Look for them at events or stop by the Office of Student Involvement and Leadership (RCC 103) for a copy.
4. Download the pdf version of the paper schedule – Download it here: Coming Soon!
The following events are required for all incoming new freshman students, please make arrangements to attend:
Monday, September 1 – 1:30-5:30pm – Your Community (Tinsley Center) - REQUIRED
Tuesday, September 2 – 1:45 pm -5pm – New Student Convocation and Class Picture (Boyden Quad) - REQUIRED
Attendance will be taken at required events using your BSU ID Card (called the Connect Card). At optional Welcome Week events we will use your Connect Card to record your attendance for our Paw Points program. Welcome Week Institutes
Our only event requiring pre-registration will be the Welcome Week Institutes held on Monday, September 1 between 9am and 1pm. Sign ups will be available in June 2014.
Be sure to visit the Involvement Network at http://www.bridgew.edu/in to claim your account (use your BSU log-in credentials) and to check out some of the events being planned for this fall!
Bring a t-shirt from another college or a high school and exchange it for a 2014 Welcome Week t-shirt! There is a limit of one Welcome Week shirt per person, but we are happy to take additional t-shirts as donations. No shirt to exchange? Don’t worry, for $5 you can buy your very own and show off your BSU pride. Shirts will be exchanged on Tuesday, September 2 during BSU 101 and at all evening Welcome Week events on Tuesday through Friday! All collected t-shirts and a portion of any sales will be donated to a local organization.
